This past year has been one of remarkable growth and impact for SAZ Education. Through strong partnerships, innovative projects, and the unwavering dedication of our team and volunteers, we have made significant strides in education, health literacy, and community engagement. This report highlights our achievements, collaborations, and future directions as we continue to work towards accessible education and health literacy for all.
Our Mission & Vision
Mission: To empower individuals through education, health literacy, and skill development, fostering lifelong learning and community well-being.
Vision: A world where education and health literacy are accessible to all, breaking down barriers to knowledge and care.
Key Achievements
Educational Support & Community Impact
Supported over 1,000 children overseas through education-related projects, providing essential resources and learning opportunities.
Supported nine schools in slum areas of Pakistan, enhancing infrastructure, learning materials, and teaching support.
Initiated science and art clubs in low-socioeconomic schools in collaboration with doctors, benefiting hundreds of students by integrating creativity and scientific exploration into their education.
Collaborated with Little Helpers on the Run to implement the Make Me a Genius program, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills in young learners.
Supported breakfast clubs in Australian schools in partnership with Little Helpers on the Run, ensuring children start their day with nutritious meals.
Facilitated Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteer hours through Little Helpers on the Run, engaging youth in meaningful service projects.
Health Literacy & Community Well-Being
Collaborated with Western Sydney University in the initial stages of reviewing a health literacy model designed for a pilot project engaging university students, with plans for expansion to other institutions.
Established partnerships with local and international organizations to use and expand health literacy materials, ensuring
greater accessibility and impact.
Integrated Little Helpers volunteers into various projects, enabling community members to complete placement hours for Centrelink, as scriptwriters, graphic designers, and contributors to the development of Dr. SAZ Health Literacy videos. The first videos are set to launch by the end of this year.
Collaborated on women’s health projects with Women’s Health Road and Western Sydney University, working on AI-integrated hybrid care models to enhance healthcare accessibility for CALD women in Australia, as well as for women overseas, particularly in the area of Heavy Menstrual Bleeding (HMB).Engaged in international collaborations on women’s health, working with reputable institutions to enhance global women’s healthcare initiatives.
Designed extensive health literacy models covering women's health, men's health, children's health, sexual health, elderly care, and more, laying the foundation for comprehensive health education programs
Future Directions
Expansion of Make Me a Genius and science & art clubs into additional underserved communities.
Further development of the AI-integrated health literacy program, with a focus on increasing accessibility for marginalized populations.
Strengthening partnerships with universities to scale up student engagement in health literacy initiatives.
Authorized launch of Dr SAZ Health Literacy videos and channel, providing accessible and evidence-based health information.
Expansion of community-led placement and volunteering opportunities through Little Helpers on the Run.
Continued efforts in securing grants and funding to sustain and expand educational and health-related initiatives.
